First off before you read this, I am NOT sure if this is the right section for this as I am new to these forums:confused:



ok, the tourneys just past in peg city and as I'm sure most of you know it was held at the Club Regent Casino, and as I am sure ALL of you know, a casino is 18/21+. Now, that is what realy began to kill me because this would have been the first video game tourney that I would have ever participated in, however I have just read in the news paper that 12 year olds were coming in and playing!:mad:now this really pissed me off becasue I am 13 and having it at the club regent casino causes some confusion, you know, the whole 18+ thing, ayway, i was really mad because i am decent at guitar hero and i thought i could at least get a few bucks (under exageration) and if it were held at the WCC (Winnipeg Convetion Center) than there would be no confusion and they probably would have had a better turn out (and they can't deny that they don't want that.) even though it might mean a few more immature gamers, it would also mean they make more money from entrances either way, its too late now, hopfully PGL rolls back into Winnipeg again:(

First It wasn't held at the Casino. It was held in the Ambassador Room in the hotel. They wanted to hold it in the hotel so people wouldn't have to drive anywhere to play. If they got a room in the hotel they would be right there.

Also have you seen the Guitar Hero players that showed up? Everyone comes in assuming it will be easy...

Of course they would have liked a bigger turnout but in all honesty if you were worried about the venue all you had to do was ask...

Yeah the name of the hotel is the Club Regent Casino Hotel. It was in the HOTEL part so anyone of any age could come play. We had the event in the hotel so we could give a deal on rooms to players.
