PGL Intro and such...

I think you guys at PGL should make an intro for people to put before your montages and videos and stuff. That would probably get you alot of publicity IMO. So i think you guys should think of getting a really good editor to do one for you guys. Ill try and get someone to do one cause i know someone thats really good at that stuff if you want and ill bring it here to show. Also make some flyers for upcoming PGL Tourneys and get people from that city to post them around town. When PGL comes to Vancouver ill be more than happy to put them around town.

Ya im more then happy to do anything to get PGL's name out there. I love how you guys are running stuff here. But...I along with about 6 or 7 of my friends were disappointed that the next stop wasn't going to be Vancouver. I know atleast 12 people from my High School on a regular basis and would love to compete at one of your tourneys.

I'm not exactly what you are refering to by an intro. The animated logo that you linkd to above is merely an animated bumper graphic... something to lead into a video or a transitions between video clips. Is this the thing that you are refering to that would give PGL a lot of publicity?

I'm not sure that a logo in and of itself really gives PGL much publicity anymore than the logo on the website does. Getting a video out there that showcases what PGL is and what an event looks like I think is much more influential to people on the outside looking in. There is currently a video that is produced which showcases a bit of PGL Edmonton and we just finished a live stream of PGL Winnipeg. If there was any doubt what PGL was before this weekend, those videos should have put them to rest.

By all means, if you have someone that can provide a PGL graphic animation, that would be much appreciated. At this point, anything creative will do. Thanks.

its an intro to you're montage then when you post it (your montage) on other sites people watch it and go "well wtf is pgl ima check it out" i personally think its a really good idea to spread the word

@ Video Guy: I see where your coming from but if you think about it people are going to be interested cause usually they see MLG before the montage but now they'll see PGL and go huh ima check this out to see what it is.

Also im trying to get someone to make an Animated Sig for PGL. Where its just the Bar of mostly Red and some Blue and from the Right Side the Maple Leaf is going to fly into its spot and from the Left Side PGL is going to fly in. The Pro Gaming League will fade in underneath it in its usual spot.

EDIT2: Umm well the guy im getting to do one of the Intro's wants to know what kinda style for it. So if you could tell me that would be great.

Ok I get you now. It makes a bit more sense in the context of using them in front / end of a montage. It just didn't make sense to me initially how you described them as an intro.

I have actually done a few of these that are going to be incorporated into the next video we do as well as the Top Ten animation sequence.

Am I to understand that you would like these to be made available for download so that people can use them to tag onto the front and end of montages made by the community? If so, maybe we can setup something on the media page for download so that people can use them on the front and end of their clips. I don't want to make assupmtions though without contacting PGL or the web guy because it could really take up some bandwidth.

I'm not sure who did the PGL logo but I have a high res file that I could provide to you. Again, if you are looking for some creative direction... best I can say at the moment is... be creative. :) As long as the PGL logo is in it, I'm sure anything submitted would be appreciated.

Well for those of you that do have capture cards, you can always access the submissions for the Top Ten. We will be taking the clips and making them into an Official PGL Top Ten video... but anyone is more than welcome to download them and use them to create a montage. There is bound to be some pretty smokin' clips available there in the months and weeks to come.

Not sure if you noticed or not kid but I got the web guy to put a high RES pgl logo image for download on the main page so anyone can now download it to make a logo animation for their vids.

OK i went to pretty much every halo site im registered to and put the sig in m signature box with a URL link in the sig to the PGL homepage.

if anyone wants to know how to do that just copy the link that i put to the sig wrap that url with IMG coding. and then wrap that with URL Coding.
