PGL admin- To build a fan base, what you need to do is advertise a lot that you plan on coming to VC as soon as you get a big enough fan base.

I am making the trip up from southern Idaho to hit up the event, because it is still closer and better priced than to make the trip to San Diego.

I do make a few suggestions with the marketing. If we want VC to come soon, we as the community need to help PGL out by recruiting then ppl who want to play, if they are willing to make the trip to VC for the tourney, we need to show them the respect by getting together the biggest PGL tourney yet. Just think about it for a sec....

So, if u guys really want this tourney, u will do ur part...

If the PGL guys make like a Poster for VC il get them to send it to me and ill go put the flyers in every game store that lets me. EB games, Play n Trade, Futureshop,etc.

I have no problem doing that aslong as they figure out a date and stuff ill put the posters up around town.

You will have more success putting them around hot spots around town b/c EB games and those stores have contracts with other companies for example sony. and in the contract they cant advertise products and events,.. its messed up but you can still try diff locations like grocery stores etc.
