Habits you had to lose when playing Halo 3

and how does it play now that you've been playing halo 3......

Big things I noticed was the sniper rifle swipe, and the beatdown lunge were a big part...... cant really remember what the speed was like in Halo 2 however

Pressing X to reload, I used to do that....too often for that matter...

Doing superjumps, I miss those custom games with 10 players trying to superjump everything in sight....the good times!

BXR I remember the first time I played Halo 3 I BXR'd a brute and when he was still alive I thought my controller was broken or something. That and BXB, especially since it did semi work for awhile in Halo 3. Oh, and of course swipe sniping, and hitting YY whenever I reload or whatever.

I still haven't lost my habit of trust in the game. In halo 2 you could 4 shot easily and just look away after the fourth shot, which is what I do in h3 but now that the BR spread is just straight ghey, I catch myself dieing just because of that habit.:o

no double shot or bxr/bxb :( ........ which completly changed the game for me....and the melee lung is so tiny in h3... when i first started i would always miss melees and just end up hitting air and then die... lol i pretty much dont ever melee any more... the time you have to wait after switching weapons is realy gay too

I'm glad there aren't many button glitches in this game... it's better to actually need to aim better than someone instead of having to get good at a defect in a game to be good lol.

I don't move towards the person and go for a bxb anymore, I tend to rely on my BR much more than my claw now.

no button glitches is way better. halo 3 is so much better lmfao, think about what you just posted compared to what you typed earlier about never playing h2. Second h3 is by far the worst of the 3. halo ce> h2 > h3. But back on topic, breaking the bxb and the jumping beatdown lunge.

Same here.

Clawing in Halo 2 was god for all the close-range situations.

Now In Halo 3, even if I have a 3 shot lead I don't go for the beatdown to make sure the game doesn't poop in my face.
