Finals Suggestion - Commentary!

I think commentating on each finals match (or even semi-finals in halo or something) and having the game projected on a screen for spectators would really add a lot of tension and also build spectator interest.

I had no Idea the Halo 4v4 Final match went down and it woulda been sick to see some l33t sk33t gamers battle it out with commentary, since not everybody there really "knows" what is going on in Halo.

Plus it adds a hell of a lot of tension. You miss your snipe, starpower, open net, and EVERYBODY knows about it. Could add an interesting element by adding even more pressure to the final match-ups

yes i think running commentary at the game would be a good idea........ but we are short on PGL staff...... we can always let Ornatefilly do it...... he seems to be out in the early rounds..... lol

Totally agree Jpizzle. The challenge at the moment is staff as mentioned by pgl but the other concern is having someone with the proper game knowledge who is also a great play by play commentator. When done well, your right it would definately be a great addition!! When done poorly, it kills the mood completely. Its a fine line!

yea thats so true about doing it right. Bad shoutcastng is waay worse than no shoutcasting.

Some people from MlG Canada have applied for the job don't think they cna do it for MLG as they are in Canada but they has skillz so maybe ask one of them.

that's the exact reason why they couldn't...go to the mlg gameroom and look at some VoDs with commentary and you'll see that they call out stuff like "here goes Ogre 2 up the closed pink lift hoping to catch Str8 off guard" etc.
