OFFICIAL LAN RULES

*Rules can be added or taken away or modified at anytime*
General
1. All players are required to bring their own wired controllers. Play and charge kits may be used, however the battery pack must be dropped out of the back. If the pack is seen in the back of the controller an automatic loss will be given for that game.
2. All players and teams must tentatively make their matches, if players are not present the team must forfeit the games they miss in their allotted time slots.
3. Swearing and physical violence will not be tolerated. It will first result in warning, a second warning will result in a loss of forfeit of the game, a third will result in a ban from the tournament.
4. All maps and gametypes are PGL. http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=ProGamingLeague (http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=ProGamingLeague)

PGL could be having a sick FFA or 4v4 map. I've got a map I made that is just sick nasty. Still tweaking it though.

If some one thinks that it feels weird with not having a battery pack in place it would be the same if they just put an empty one on not the play and charge pack ones.

nope need to see that there are no batteries in controller so you have to keep the pack out of the back

Because then they can be used wireless and it messes up the other xboxs.

Exactly we don't want someone hitting the X and messing up a game. If we see anyone playing with a battery powered wireless we will just ask you to leave. No more leeway on this rule!

Ya thank god they got rid of this rule, at regina someone took control of my xbox in the middle of an FFA game. It's unreal how frustrating it is trying to find the kid who didn't disconnect his controller so it ends up leaving the person having to shut off their box.

If you take out the battery pack and just use the Play N Charge kit, it says on the screen "Please reconnect controller" and it doesn't leave.

Just turn the xbox on and off, or some people actually know how to disconnect the controller before leave the xbox.
