***Official PGL Halo 3 Top Ten Submission Rules***
Want to show off your Halo 3 skills to the world? Of course you do! We are going to compile the first PGL Halo 3 Top Ten list from plays and submission from the upcoming Edmonton tournament. Please follow these rules and guidelines below in order to submit your videos for the PGL Halo 3 Top Ten. Hopefully, this will continue to be a permanent addition to upcoming PGL Tournaments. The Top Ten video compilation will be available on the website and will likely be showcased at future events and tournaments.
In order to be considered for the PGL Halo 3 Tourney Top Ten, simply save the entire game video to your hard drive at the conclusion of your game at the tournament. At home, review your game and upload your clip to your fileshare on Bungie.net and then look in the forum the following week for a thread entitled ?PGL Tourney Top Ten : Edmonton?. The goal is to produce a Top Ten for each tournament? but if your clip does not make it into the Top Ten for a specific tournament, it may be considered later down the road if we break off at the end of the year with a few different Top Ten categories? Top Ten Snipes, Top Ten Sticks, Top Ten Splatters, etc.
Please follow these guidelines in order for your clip to be eligible:
- Make sure to leave a few seconds before and after your play to leave sufficient room for editing. A clip that does leave enough lead room in the beginning or ends to soon may be ineligible if we cannot edit it.
- Leave the camera work to us! Unless something random and crazy happens behind the scenes, leave your clips in first person perspective? we?ll take care of the rest.
- If possible, leave your clips online! If we cannot access your clips, we can?t use them. Again, if you want it to be considered for other clips down the road, please leave them online on your file share.
- Keep it clean! Gametypes, gamertags and foul or obscene language on screen will result in your video being ineligible.
- The Tourney Top Tens will be rated by PGL staff members and assistants. You?re more than welcome to create a poll and rank them in the forum but forum members will not dictate or influence the result of the top ten selection.
- Keep your video submissions under 1 minute in length. Not to discourage 20+ kill sprees, but only send the best couple plays in the event of a kill spree to keep the video under the 1 minute mark.
- For now we are only accepting 2 submissions per gamertag per tournment. This may change down the road, but for now, ONLY TWO clips per gamertag per tournament will be reviewed.
Please follow the example below when posting your submission in the forum.
