Sounds like they werent able to get a team together and flights were fairly expensive this time around......... gonna be interesting to see the placings in Edmonton

We'll win...you guys seem to be too into "Remedy" and "DrewFrenzy."
No offence to them, their good guys, but I have had more success in the Gamebattles playoffs, I have had more success at MLG's in the past, and my MLG team had played them twice/three times in the ladder, and we 2-0'd them each time.
We got 2nd at Calgary against them, when none of us had played with eachother before, and that was 3/4 of their actual team, and we still got 2-3 games off of them.
Me, Luck, Imported, and Soldiers will win.

Plus we want the strongest competition possible and with one of the best teams to play in PGL not coming it's disappointing.

i bet we would have beat them this time anyway... we were a team, for about 30 mins before the tourney started. With like 4 hours of practice we would beat them, no offence...
o and also we did not know where any of the hills were going on KOTH, another reason the had an advantage at Calgary...

Excuses haha. Either way it was a great final to watch lots of skill from the great Cow-town
That is why you should download the maps and check to see where the hills go.
Also bringing your own HDD's is a must for edmonton. So make sure your whole team brings them cause PGL will not be leading anything out.

People should really stop saying shit about how Remedy isnt that good or how they could easily beat them. Individually Drew, Toxic and Heck are better than anyone at PGL's. If anyone even watched their 2v2's you could tell they had their shit together over anyone else and were able to keep their cool and knew what they were always doing. Remedy is an amazing team and no one should be looking down on them or thinking they are a breeze to get past or you will be very disapointed when you have to play them.
And to say that you could easily take them because you wernt a team for long and u still took some games from them isnt saying much. Remedy also had Tiki on their team (no offence) who they never played with before and did the worst in like every game. I could put money if i was on their team that event we wouldnt have dropped a single game.

Umm...this frustrates me to such a high degree. Drew, Toxic, and Heck are not the most individually talented there by far...I have accomplished a ton more then them, halo 2, and 3. With my MLG team "bP - Mudvayne, Be like myth, Krome, me. We beat them twice in GB 2-0'ing their team. They are good, yes, but they arn't as "individually" better then me in anyway.

Honestly kyle i dont even have a team for edmonton. I was going to end up going with drew but he couldnt make it so now im teamless. So im a F/A but i think me and Zaitsev are going to find 2 people to go with us. Any takers?

Heck, Toxic, and Drew IS 3/4 OF THEIR MLG TEAM.
If they can't easily beat 4 randoms with any 4th, then they arn't that good to begin with.
and who knows how long luck actually knew about PGL, but we NEVER played the gametypes, Me and Luck MET EACHOTHER at the event, and I had only known imported for 2 weeks on XBL, then we picked up Durramax....

OK what does that even mean lol. i had never played with the kids i went with and we were still able to make every game close and i was able to single handedly out slay your team.

Your obviously not understanding, I'VE ACCOMPLISHED MORE AT MLG'S.
Swear to god buddy...you outslayed in 1 game, and its not hard to do when you don't know how to play as a team, but yet play as a stat whore.

Because Drew's team isn't a "top" team.
Triggers down is a "top" team, Agency is a "top" team, and we beat them in gamebattles as well, and lost 2-3 to triggers down in the playoff bracket...im not talking about for fun scrims, i'm talking gamebattles and the online playoffs. Random host, is also, a joke Drews team hosted each time.
I'm not trying to insult people, except for yourself, i'm just trying to show the fact that you guys put Drew and Toxic up on such a pedistal when they arn't even that great.
"Most individually skilled" No.
"Best players there" No.
My team just doesn't have the money to fly out to tournaments which they will end up losing more then they win to get first... so I go with locals which I never play with.

its called them being a team for 6 months and us being a team for 3 days... big difference if u ask me.. i hope they do some kind of surprise show up so we can beat them in the finals this time.. i guarentee we beat them if we have more then 3 days practice with the 4th we have now.

please elaborate...... lots of guys who played at the tournament dont at all mind the settings......... its prolly because its not like mlg....... i still think mlg's settings are flawed and predictable.......
