Hey, I was just thinking it would be a nice gesture if you were to release information on what prize money has been given away to each position at each tournament, in the spirit of assuring the community that 5k is in fact being given away.

As well, does Gh3/NHL08 cut into that 5k? With each additional tournament are the prize amounts going down?

At every event but calgary the money was given away in front of the people and posted on the white board what they won. In calgary we went a different route because people where stealing. Hence the bringing the teams/players into the green room to give them the money so people wouldn't see where the money went for safety reasons.

GH didn't cut into the 5k for halo.

Gnome, I dunno if you think that we make money hand over fist but that is not the case at all........ if we really wanted to we could say that 5K giveaway includes the price it costs us for the room..... so lets not get really technical here...... bottom line is we are paying people to play video games...... I have no idea how it gets any better than that.......

Yeah dude, you should sit down with one of the guys and actually listen to how much they have put into it to make it happen... and for them to have a bunch of stuff stolen after they have put so much time and money into it, is frustrating as hell...
I dont think its a big deal at all that they cut into the prize money a little bit. If anything, it got everyone aware and will help to stop the stealing going on at the tourny's since everyone is going to have their eyes open.

Its not like they took away all of the money.. just some to make up for what happened.

All i'm saying is you should try to understand everything they have put into this, and the stealing thing... sure it sucks that we get hurt a little bit from it, but I cant really blame them

Yeah and also i think you should pay everyone that comes to the tournament to play, why should anyone have to pay to have fun at a good lan tournament!?

Seriously though, these guys are doing an awesome job with it and i think you need to suck it up and stop complaining.
