CoD4 FTW! My team is based out of Alberta and would most likely put a team together for any event hosting a CoD4 Tournament. It definitely sucks that there isn't the ability to create custom class's however this game is too damn good to not pick up. Our team competed in the most recent MLG online event however due to roster issues didn't do as well as we would have liked. So yeah, if anyone wants to start a mini-CoD4 tournament for Edmonton I can guarentee a team of four or two teams of two.

Wow OMG you guys are all retarted... don't get me wrong I love my COD but rainbow is gonna kick the crap out of it. My clan leader for COD works at is a manager at gamestop and he's been playin it for a few days and he says it kicks the crap out of COD4. Just look at the stats about the game, other than halo it is one of the best selling FPS's out there and it is often blamed for holding GOW back from further fame. Trust me, this game will be huge upon official launch, and will destroy COD as a tournament realistic FPS. Again I love my COD, but rainbow will surpass it trust me. Its basically 2nd place to halo for mlg in terms of attendence and money spent on it.

As good as both games are cod4 just isnt designed for competitive lan play..yet..and r6v2 was made for competitive play. They both would be great games to pick up but cod4 isnt ready yet i dont think. And yeah cod4 would definatly bring a huge crowd to pgl i think if you could get it to work somehow.

Yeah that is actually a good idea..have online tournaments for cod4 and have r6 at events that way you could get more people in the pgl community from all over the place.

If it's anything like the first one I wouldn't like it. The single player was fun to play but the multiplayer wasn't that great at all in my opinion. Didn't feel as good as any of the other games.

I loved playing Gears...with my friends, because it wasn't that competitive to me. I mean you've obviously watched the VoD. It's not even fun to watch. Most of it is rolling around with the shotgun. The single player was great and i'm not saying the multiplayer wasn't but it wasn't Halo or RB6 by no means.

And you don't want to have too many games there because then you lose interest and the prize moey goes down.
