Guitar Hero or Rock Band

hey now i say saweet....... i thought i copywrited it...... however i think it would be hard to get full bands out....... seems almost like its too expensive for people to buy and then to put in the practice time in it would be tough.... but rockband is a sick game in general...... a sing off, guitar off, drum off and band off would be saaaaaweeeeetttt

first off, no you did not copywrite saaweettt, come on now lets be realistic...:p hahah. anyways.. finding a full band would be hard, but it would be pretty decent.. and sing offs sound pretty fantastic...hmmm hard decision... i just like the guitar better in gh.. so i dunnooo...

rock band is a great game but it wouldnt suit pgl.
rock band wouldnt be the same with just one or two people playing against eachother and finding full bands would be too difficult. For right now guitar hero is the better choice. look at how many people came for guitar hero in calgary, not alot. If rock band was made pgl then imo there would be even less teams playing. guitar hero is like an ffa its every man for himself so more people will enter knowing they dont need to rely on a team mate or share the prizes.

rock band is almost the same as gh3 but its easier and less people have it.

I think you should stick with what works. Guitar Hero III IMO is far more competitive whereas RockBand is just a good "party game". Good points were raised in the fact that finding a full band is definitely going to lower attendance whereas with Guitar Hero III like Epiccc said is a "FFA" and anyone can enter by themselves. Don't let Calgary's poor attendance diminish the games potential. I predict Edmonton will have a much larger turnout. Just my two cents. :)

Personally, I would LOVE a Rock Band tournament. I have a group of 12 friends and we all have 4 man bands and compare scores. I could get them all to come. Next Edmonton tourney, do this! It would be so awesome.
