Calgary or Edmonton?

My team is hoping to attend one of the Alberta tournies. We would love to attend both but can only manage to attend 1. Out of the two, which do you think would be more worth while?

Both lol........ i think the drive would be worth it for the points, the prize money and the gameplay...... may as well make these tournaments while they are close to your hometowns because it might be a while before the tournaments come back around..

In my humble opinion I would wait till E-town. I think with a center the size of Calgary the public awareness about the 2nd Alberta stop will be fairly big and I would imagine a much bigger event. However more ppl=more competition so its a toss up! lol I can't make Calgary b/c of a midterm but I plan on being in edmonton if the schedule fits.

I would say both also. You can't put a price on LAN experience. You will be much better for Edmonton if you play in Calgary. Plus the points for playing in both are worth there weight in gold.
If you really can't do both i would say go to Calgary. But i just don't like Edmonton as a city haha. I think Calgary will be the bigger tourny of the 2.

Yes
1) Calgary has more people than edmonton so in theory if the same percentage of people are gamers you will get more out in Calgary
2) Calgary is easier to get to from most cities, also should get more people out.
3) Calgary is closer to the states so more likely the Yanky's will come up for it
4) Calgary Flames are way better than the Oilers :D

Yes there are more people coming than any tournament than before from what i see. The population is greater.

should be pretty close with both cities i would assume......... getting the word out will definatley be the hardest part....... Go Oiler...... minus Moreau being injured for the rest of the year

Quoted for truth.... lol thats reason enough to go to Calgary instead. Anyways isn't Calgarys population younger then Edmonton? I don't know how factual that is I think I just remeber hearing it somewhere? So that could cause a bigger turnout, however after each tourny you get more word of mouth about them so its hard to say.

also remember we are still a week and a half out from the event ....... people are still assembling their team...... we usually dont see a lot of registrations until about tuesday wednesday thursday of next week..... until then we just have to try to reach all the halo and guitar hero players and go from there
