I have been pondering this subject for a while due MLG's extreme growth since the release of Halo 2. I believe if MLG is willing to give away the money they do within their seasons of competitive gaming, I feel that MLG should propose a deal with Bungie regarding the implementation of an MLG play list to bring MLG players togethor within the Pro gaming community.

There are days where I log on and there is no MLG customs running. Why not have an actual Matchmaking Play list that has the official MLG settings, allowing MLG to thrive bigger and bigger, promoting professional gaming on halo 3.

Bungie and MLG are companies that both seek economic growth. If MLG would propose a business deal to Bungie in regard to putting MLG into their Matchmaking system, both businesses would generate more revenue.

This play list would be busy every day, never needing to look for a custom game. If they would actually do it, they should make an MLG Team Playlist and an MLG FFA play list.

Or a custom game finder.

I would love a Custom Game Finder. The only problem is that Halo 3 has already been produced, it would cost even more money to make it work, especially with the game being ran through the dashboard. Unfortunately, that's the only way you could generate something close to a Custom Game Finder.

Or perhaps we can focus on helping the growth of PGL :)

I think it could actually just be something in Halo. I mean. Just search for the game type and join the game that you want to.

I know that going into MM just make the low custom games problem larger if you want a game thats what its there for. If you feel more like MLG or something else get more or diffrent friends.

Matchmaking is their only game finder which is what everyone expected. I just believe that MLG has sufficient funds finance Bungie for implementing an MLG play list.

I have plenty of friends who play MLG, I just like the convenience of being able to jump into something that is fully MLG. Matchmaking was a brilliant idea on Bungie's behalf, although I believe that the Matchmaking system should be used to it's full potential. Promoting cultural influence to enter into MM allow peoples interests to be filtered within the Halo 3 community.

If Bungie would have implemented a Custom Game Finder they would have already done so. That's why I propose using MM to it's full potential.

I am very aware with the optimatch forum on bungie.net. The problem is that THC is a play list inspired by MLG. I just believe that Bungie should give something back to the community, like implementing an actual MLG play list. MLG has worked very hard to become as popular and powerful as they are now. I believe THC is something for people who want to play a BR start game. Since there is no custom game finder within halo 3, I strongly feel if a specific style of halo has become very popular, that Bungie could, and should incorporate the cultural influence into their MM system. That is the least they could do since they failed on the custom game finder.
