Come Back PGL!

I'm one of those guy's who only got to attend PGL while it was at a venue nearest to my home town. Once it moved further away my ability to attend these great tournaments became limited. If possible i would hope PGL could make one more stop somewhere in Saskatchewan such as Moose Jaw or Yorkton or even Saskatoon again maybe. PLease take this into account. When i attened the first regina tournament i was amazed and it was so much fun! Please im begging you make another stop in Saskatchewan sometime soon please!

ya but the thing is like i love playing halo being on a team and what not and think i could be a good contribution. The thing is some places are too far for me too go and i have no way of getting there because i don't have alicense yet im only 15

u know what it would be sweet if they could sweep through regina on the way back through the country, although it would be an unfair advantage for us right in the middle. but it would be good to have another local one at some point before next season or w/e

Time you said it man, or sometime in the summer but like a way bigger compeition guranteed to bring way more people then the first time.if u did like round robin or more then double elimnation like triple or something i dont know but it could be big if u did it here again but during the summer

Well the only thing you really need it money to get to events. plane... coach bus. Once you can figure out were it is it's really only about the money.

i think all they'd have / could do would up the prizes .. push em back a lil for more incentive but that would all come with time.

Yes it would be nice if it came back to Saskatchewan seeing as though I am from here but crying about it won't help. Give it a rest buddy.

An Idea maybe once PGL is started in there more popular locations they could try and make some cyber cafe, awesome idea just would be a lot of work.

i agree with the royals about just having like lan without compeition. do u know how fun it is to get a triple kill or even a killing frenzy and yell "What happened did i break the game". Its friendly fun and nothing is at stake but most guys ive talked to prefer LAN way more then xbox live connection

ya hes right thats basically the matrix but still like u got a bunch of amatuers if they were actually good they would have come to the regina PGL tournament. sure its fun to rape noobs but it can be boring after a while

ooh i see what you're saying just get those ppl coming that were nervous to come or w/e .. everyone that i knew that was good came~ but there were lots of buddies that i know that would have came if it were free (kuz they aren't good).. ya it would be sorta neat but it might be like bring your own box sorta thing because if something like thats free it would be a huge responsibility and who knows what kinda ppl they'd attract.

In calgary they have a Gaming place you pick your game and then you list who is coming for parties and stuff to book a day or you can just come and play and practice and chill and once a month they have little tourneys and you get point from them towards free entries and the have a leader board showing the gamer tag of there top players. It would be a nice little station for PGL.

Interesting thread fellas....... here is some of my input........ this is a league, points will accumulate and then we will pick out our top pros to play for a sick amount of cash........ returning a league tournament to the same town makes it a little less unfair and also we have to market more areas to get the crowds we want to see........ we gotta make this thing grow huge..... our main objective is to give you the gamers cash to play games and that will always be our priority

PGL Cafe...... There is the matrix in regina but they have no Console LAN........ I talked to them to run a bit of a deal together to have LAN xbox but he didnt like the idea........ I have thought of this cyber cafe as well having guys come down and LAN a few games and see whats going on....... remember I do have the consoles and TV's so this isnt a problem but it is a lot of work..... I devote a lot of time to getting these tournaments set up as well as working on the last ones..... marketing it..... website content..... forum management.... etc etc.......so i am disgustinly busy and would need a lot of help to pull this off....... PGL is a competitive league though and I want that to be the first thing people think of when they join PGL............ I can however have a few lan parties to get some practice time in.......

For Sasky future events........ there might be a few more circuits rolling out so keep your eyes peeled for them.......
