COD4 For PGL Regina

It might sound Crazy but a COD4 FFA that didnt Interfear with Halo i think would get a lot of people COD4 is so popular with kids who go to my school if you could give away cash in an FFA Im pretty sure youd get a lot of kids in it. Gears 2 isnt popular with people like COD is I would ditch Gears and go with COD4.

well they have the venue till sunday and were thinking of what to do on sunday i think a cod4 tourney would be a great way to bring in some cash i no more kids who play cod then who play halo.

ya but the kids that are coming arent gunna care there to stupid to care about how competetive it is. Kids will here COD OMG sick and go. on th zonegaming facebook wall theres 8 posts of people wanting a cod4 tourney. and i no so many scrawnds who would go.

Now that the next tournament is known more than 1week in advance I wouldn't cut Gears of War 2 just yet. Keep that and run an extra CoD4 FFA if any scenario should go down. If all your asking is an FFA that can be started and finished in a shorter amount of time than a 4v4. Also, Gears of War 2 at Toronto attracted closer to the 16team mark in the 2v2 vs the 0 in attendance for CoD4 @ Montreal? I think it was Montreal but it might not have been, maybe Winnipeg not sure. The fact still remains, GoW2 could see a better turnout now that the event it publicized a decent amount of time in advance.

Zone Gaming is a LAN center, but all the Xbox's have XBL Gold and a very sick internet connection. This means if people bring their HDDs (which they do for Halo) then people can use their own classes and the COD4 FFA can be done on XBL instead of LAN.

Yeah the turnout would be sick. I was just telling some of the kids at my school that PGL was coming to Regina, and the first thing they said was "Why don't they have CoD?" I'm sure it would be a great way to get some money. Plus most of the guys at my school have an Xbox and always go to Zone to play CoD on XBL... so if they are that stupid to do that I'm sure they'll come to play for money and meet some pros.:D

I'm also thinking about some other special sunday events t? bring in more of a croud n let people just come in relax play some friendly games win some prizes stuff like that.

You should see if zone gaming can somehow move or hide the 32 pc stations they have set up to make room for spectators/lounge/mainstage?/etc.
If they can make more room this event is gonna be really sick (not that it isn't already gonna be sick).

Do it for part of Sunday its gunna bring in lots of cash, and to fuzzy bunny i no the lan settings suck but i dont think kids are gunna care, most kids who play cod arn't to intense there just gunna care about winning the money. Its like PGL Back in the begining people were mad there were no MLG settings but moneys was on the line so no one seemed to care. Do a COD4 FFA Sunday at like 11 am then the rest of the day can be prizes and come to play and shit like that.
