Hey all Winnipeg Gamers and people outside of Winnipeg. Nevermind and I have been trying to set up a good LAN but everyone always drops out last minute. There are only 3 people that we can count on to come and that is Reckonize Tomahawk and Darxand. Props to them but we need at least 8 people to lan and that is only 5. So if you wanna come and get away from that XBL bullshit. So just post in this thread. Everyone knows that they are always fun and enjoyable and if we get 8 people it will be great so just post in this thread if you are willing to come we can set up a date once we get everyone.

Ok since this hasn't gotten moving all offer to help or you can to continue to plan it Bryce either way doesn't matter. But I really think the only way to get 8 people to come is to have a set date and invite everyone. In the past we would constantly change the date to try to fit everyones schedule but It just doesn't work because then I never have straight answers from anyone due to the date changes and the whole lan gets cancelled. So with that said if you happen to be busy the date of the lan then don't complain and tell me to change it just wait patiently for the next one. I will have them every two weeks if they go well. Anyway with nothing more to do here will be whats going on with the next lan.

-The lan will be Monday, July 27th starting at noon. Everyone will have the option of staying overnight or coming back to lan Tuesday.
-Location will be my house at 2071 Sinclair st (North Winnipeg)
-Their could potentially be a lot of people so if thats the case lets try to have 2 4v4 set-ups which means almost everyone has to bring a t.v or some people have to split screen.
-In terms of invations everyone who lives in Winnipeg is invited. Their will be a max of 20 people which I don't think we will get but if we do I will be telling some peple they can't go. I will keep a list of people on this thread of who is coming, their will be an attending list and a maybe list so if your not sure if you can come or not say maybe. Anybody who says their coming and doesn't will not be invited to anymore lans. You can let me know by messaging me on my GT or post in this thread.
-If their is not a 8 people by the day before the lan then the lan will be cancelled so check your inbox on live if your curious if the lan is happening because I will be sending a message.
-Anybody who needs rides ask me and I will come pick you up or ask someone else to.
-I will post the equipment you need to bring later
-Stats will not be kept because it makes everyone stat whore and complain more about their t.v/teamates. Plus hopefully everyone will put their ego's aside for the lan and just have fun playing and not worrying about doing better then the person next to you. To be honest unless its team vs team it doesn't mean much so just play for practice and fun. You can trash talk but it should be in good fun, a lot of people somewhat don't like each other but lets save the proving whos better for tournaments. I don't want any fights in my house :).
-Teams will be kept as fair as possible most likely through picking teams with captains, this mean that you will not play on your t.v the whole time and you will not get to play with who you want the whole time. If you have a problem with that then don't come.
-Lets try to get a stream going or atleast some type of video

A lot of people are saying they want to help me plan this so here's how you can help.
-When I send you a msg send me a msg back right away even just to tell me your not sure. Also try to respond to this thread as soon as possible.
-Msg all Winnipeg locals make sure all our locals are aware of this thread and this lan.
-Try to find more locals if possible.
-Don't complain about the date.

Lets just say your really lucky you got at me before anyone msgd me or I probaly wouldn't have changed it. Once people start messaging me their is no changing the date. Also I see no problems with my house we have room for two set-ups and their isn't a chance of my parents not letting me use the house and cancelling the lan like has happened once before at Ryans house. As far as paying for a place I don't think anybody wants to pay or deal with the hours they give us. Plus If anybody gets bored of halo theirs a basketball net, t.v, computer, and a pool. Also right now I have 4 extra T.Vs we could use that I wouldn't be able to bring anywhere else. Let's just say I don't see any problems with my house I realize it is sorta far for you but it's not that far.

Hate Jay he's the one who made me change it to that day which I did cause he messaged me like 15 minutes after I posted. If you weren't so lazy and bought a mic then we could have talked and made a day that is good for all of us. Ok here is what we have so far in terms of attendence, not a bad start. I am really glad that their are new locals coming out but at the same time I wouldn't mind lanning with some people I already know. I've sent messages out to everyone and once again have been slightly ignored we need 8 by Sunday morning (personally I want 8 by Friday so we can start assigning equipment to bring and I won't be in the city on Saturday) so make sure to get the word out. If we keep cancelling lans nobody is going to want to come so try to get to this one. Anyway here is some of the people I might need help getting ahold of.

Ok one last post before the lan scene in Winnipeg dies for good. Anyway so I have just realized that I will be gone Saturday morning until - Monday morning. Meaning we have until Friday night to get a solid group of 8 people or another lan will be cancelled, one in which I sent a message to everyone who has ever gone into MLG playlist in Winnipeg. If this lan doesn't work I don't see how any others will. So It's simple to all those that actually care msg every local you know direct them to the thread or to me tell them to send me a message saying they can come.

Personally I don't think anybody cares about lans in this city so w/e I'll phone up Silvershot ask him how he got his connection and I'll be happy being an online kid. In terms of what it used to be Winnipeg lans have gone so down hill in the past few months.

Ok well I sent more messages out yesterday got zero responses and actually had two people who I thought were coming back out so ya Lanning in Winnipeg is not meant to be I guess. So as of now the lan is cancelled unless like 5 people all of a sudden message and say they can go for sure which I don't think their is any chance of. Thank you for everyone who helped me (Illdeal and Numb3r) and I am sorry for the few who wanted to lan and now can't. Maybe I'll try this again in a couple months, hopefully with a better result.

I most likely will be gone till Sunday too I would just dump all the responsibility on Bryce but then we wouldn't be lanning come Wednesday :). How about you make the thread and I will continue to send and recieve messages but you should probaly be doing that to. The threads not hard to make you can just steal my post and change whatever you need to or just make a really simple post with the date and location.
