Re-Make PGL

i think PGL should stick to only hosting tourneys in 3 cities. Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. This 3 cities would have the most turn out due to the fact the best players in Canada live close to this cities; and are cities that largely populated. For example if they were to host 2 tourneys at each city.

April - Toronto
May - Ottawa
June - Montreal
July - Toronto
August - Ottawa
September - Montreal
October - Finals(somewhere else)

This would guarantee that PGL made money . Yes other cities would complain but PGL would get bigger and be able to properly go to other cities.

This makes sense in a logical way but wouldn't it make even more sense to get the name out all across canada? I think the main problem with attendance in the western part of canada is that there is a lack of advertising. Even if they put up posters in lan centers it would make a huge difference. Im not sure if they have the money to do this but i think it would make the turnout of tourneys larger. A larger tournament means more possible sponsors. Im not going to argue the fact that that there are way more eastern canadian gamers because its completely true. So i can totally see where you are coming from with this thread but give us westerners a chance! We love gaming just as much as you, we just need to get the word out for a better turnout.

Last night in the playlist, I introduced 3 new people to PGL. I got them to add the MLGAlberta tag. I know many others of us who do that. You see the easterners are just in it for the lan/money. Most of them don't care about how well pgl is doing, just as long as they host lans there. You guys have your own lans centers there. Use Them!

This is not to start a flame war between eastewrners and westerners, I know some of you actually help out pgl a lot!

There is an easy way to solve this and a hard way to solve this. Easy way - get the strongest easterner and the strongest westerner and let them fight to the death. Or hard way- make a thread about it

If you guys out west were really trying to help PGL you would be getting more than 11 teams at Saskatoon. We are helping out east by bringing profit to PGL and that is what is needed to make PGL more successful right? You will get at least 5 American teams at the southern ontario tournaments we got like 4 or 5 at PGL Toronto like come on you guys deem it necessary to trash us when we are helping more than you guys are. THe only place I see being successful out west is Vancouver.

PGL started in sask, so if it was to stay local it would be sask, mb, and ab. none of this Ottawa shit. ottawa had the worst turn out, Most of PGL active members are from SK. so if you don't like it don't post stupid things. if they really wanted to use this gaming league for making money they would. but im pretty sure this is a community based league. one where the creator and friends are actually posting with us and getting ideas from us.

There were 13 at saskatoon. The population of Toronto is twice as big as the province of Saskatchewan. how can you guys only get 20 teams to a Toronto PGL?

Royal 2 is probably indivualy better then most players in canada. I dont agree with you that East has better players, but that doesnt matter. PGL doesnt need to worry about getting all the good players to an even they need to worry about attracting the kids who are major grade 3s who have never lanned. Wow. Pretty sure every other post from a PGL staff member is complaining about turnout and the fact they made no money, so YES I would hope thay care about money, what business does not. You sir would be an amazing hometown referee in an important playoff game.
