before i start I just want to say that I'm not a sf4 fan but here me out, I have a lot of friends living in my town that are in to street fighter but there's nothing competitive wise going on (btw im in Montreal so tell me if there is lol) but if pgl dropped madden and pick up sf4 that would be pretty sick. plus I can't see people playing a sports video game competitively so a fighter would be better IMO.

Never played it, but if there was a fighting game added, i'd like to see UFC.

If your going to have a fighter game take out brawl and replace it with melee:) melee is such a better game, more competitive and takes more skill you could even advertise it on smash boards.

sf4 has a competetive scene In almost every province. I used to be a guitar hero player, now I play SF4. There is a strong scene for this game, although it does vary by region, and I believe Saskatchewan has the weakest scene.
SF4 right now has the biggest community other than smash bros. when it comes to fighting games. Simply visit www.shoryuken.com forums and check the canada regional matchmaking forums. There are threads for every region in canada, go there and gauge the interest if this is something you guys would consider.
If you guys do throw a tourney for it, advertise it on shoryuken in the tournament thread and the apropriate region thread, that is where ALL street fighter players lurk from the english world. Average turn out in Edmonton for Non-Major tournaments are 30-50 people and that number is steadily growing
