WEll a few days ago i read that amp was no longer our sponsor and also read that these would be taken down ASAP. Its been about three or four days or maybe more and these are stilll up. It looks pretty sad if a sponsor drops you and you still have their ads up lol

Ya good post, other then the fact it's been brought up, if someone wants to do webpage work for free go ahead, I made Cheeky an admin to do his own thing on the webpage for us and he can't even figure it out so ya.

Just look for the code that has AMP in it and delete it. :p

Ya sounds real simple, but the website isn't set up like when you make them in highschool, so once again not as easy as it looks guys, so end of discussion.

On line 100 of the source code it reads as follows:
<div class="content"><img height="100" alt="Amp Energy" hspace="0" width="368" border="0" src="../sites/all/themes/PGLv3/images/bannerAd1/ampEnergy.jpg" /></div>
Now, I'm not sure specifically how this sites layout is designed as I haven't combed through every line or even the CSS, but replacing this image is a simple process that will take you ten minutes, and I can guide you through if you'd like.
To be sure that I'm not messing with the layout we're going to take a rather frowned upon shortcut here, and simply replace the image with an equally sized more desirable one.
Simply go into your favorite graphic editing program and create an image that is 100 pixels in height and 368 pixels in width. If you wish to replace the ad with simply blank space, I suggest you make this image completely transparent. Otherwise, a small banner advertising PGL Sask or Calgary I'm sure would be a nice touch.
Once your image is made, be SURE to name it "ampEnergy.jpg" - the reason I ask you to do this is I cannot see the PHP side of your code, and as such I cannot tell you which page to edit - so we're simply doing an image swap.
Once you have your image you can upload it to your web server - a process I am unable to guide you through as I am unaware of your FTP information, but I'm positive the website owner will know. If all else fails you should, upon receiving the FTP information from the owner, be able to navigate to the page using windows explorer (to access an FTP with windows explorer open up my computer, make sure you have your address bar enabled and click on it, then paste or write in the ftp address - should be ftp://progamingleague.ca. From there you will be asked for a user name and password.) and drag and drop the image into the proper folder. (the proper folder is /sites/all/themes/PGLv3/images/). You will in this process overwrite the previous amp energy image. If you wish to preserve a backup copy of the amp image, rename the ampEnergy.jpg that is currently on the folder to something else like ampEnergyBackup.jpg
Once your new image is loaded, go to your internet browser of choice and browse to progamingleague.ca. Hit ctrl+F5 if the change is not immediate.
You may be thinking this isn't worth the effort, but it might be. Being completely out of the loop on PGL's relationship with amp, they may take offense to being associated with PGL and may seek recourse.
If you ever need help in the future I own a web design company located in southern Alberta and would be willing to help you out. You can contact me at afay@allworldsafety.com.
