BR's vs Carbines

What do you guys like more the BR's or Carbines....... I personally dont like the Carbines..... maybe its because teh firing sound isnt manly enough its more of a pew pew pew...... kinda gay

Well our friend who wears pink would like it.

The carbine is more powerful if you get 1 head shots in.

I use whatever I have at the time it's not a big deal to me. But the Carbine can kill you faster than a BR.

In halo 3 the carbine has to much auto aim. Period it's way better than the BR up close if you know how to use it and you will see people carrying it around as a primary or secondary to Finnish people off it's a good way to not need to reload.

I'd take the BR just because if someone has little shielding, but enough to withstand a single shot, the BR's 3 round burst can take off the little bit and kill 'em with a headshot. The carbine would have to fire twice to take the shielding then headshot.

it may take relitively the same amount of time, but the carbine requires so many more shots to achieve the same task.. the br is just more comfortable to use.

haha quote of the year, and I love the BR because it's easier to count how many shots you've put in them, not to mention the 3 shot burst allows you to rake the last shot for a headshot. Although let's say (Guardian) someone is at Y2 and I'm S2, I'll usually take the carbine simply because I find it works better at long distances.

The battle rifle is so far the greatest. It can rack up a good double head shot with a sweep, and is faster to reload than the Carbine, plus, it hits harder too.

and the br with its 3 round birst makes up for the lack of accuracy ppl might have where as the carbine hits alot harder if you can pull off constant head shots...for me personally i like using the br b/c of the chance of hitting your target is greater :D

carbine 7 shots kill. Br 11 shots kill. head straight up carbine is faster if you to used to the carbine it's a great weapon and speeds up your game play not re-loading.

I think BR is better becuase me, Lil Poison, Ogre2 and some randoms were playing contruct 4v4. and Ogre always had a carabine cuz he was trying it out. I would out rifle him far and close range he didnt out rifle me once, onless you count when he noscoped me

lil poison is cool and everything but does his voice just get on your nerves. I'm alway watching what i say around him as well... but he has good maps not really good at H3 though but at leased he run like million customs a day on foundry FFA.

And FB OG2 he has not played much H3 compared to a lot of people but i think when he get used to it he will be affective and skilled with it.. But i like BR more for distance i don't know why the carbine just seams week.

yea he was so sqweaky it was like ahhhhhhhhh wtf are you doing to my ears and at about that point my Xbox took a poop on me. and regardless of how much Ogre2 plays H3 hes still one of the best

spamming aside// the br takes 4/5 shots, the carbine takes like 12 or so. although relitively the same amount of time thats what it comes down to, you have to be that much more accurate with the shots. because you have to hit them more frequently. so overall i think the brs better for this reason but for a quik kill atleast in halo 2 if someones 1 shot the carbine was good.. but other then this ill never pick it up over br.

Yea i thought i was 7 shots to the head and the BR is 11 so you can miss 1 in the spread. A lot of people don't even use the carbine and pass judgment it's good close up because of the speed it's a great bumper jumper close up as the last shot will go threw a corner of a wall for some weird reason so a lot of the time people can't get away.

i can answer this real easily carbine>br
the carbine is a 7 shot and a br is a 4 shot however with the br spread the br doesnt ever 4 shot every now and then but the carbine is so much more reliable my team is know for running aruond blazing with the carbine and winning matches because of it.
