We use MLG settings for everything just because it's an easier transition
I have PGL settings for Gears but maybe someday we'll use them, I thought they were better.

For Brawl what kind of settings is used? And can you use the wii remote? or does it have to be a wired controller? ( gamecube/wii controller ) Are they gonna be using items and you can pick which ever character you want am i right?

If I'm not mistaken with Brawl wired controllers HAVE to be used, this is with every game if you do not have a wired controller you do not play(same with HDD for xbox games everyone and wired with Guitar Hero) and no I'm more than sure no items for Brawl and yes choose any character. We are enforcing rules with the Wired controller and the HDD a lot more now. Since before it has caused nothing but problems with the tournament when people do not have their HDD and wired controllers. This time there will be NO exceptions.

Alright FFA does seed 4v4 and 2v2. Round by round game types change yes. Foundry gametypes for 4v4 I'm not 100% sure but I don't know if they were that popular in Toronto. Monitors are our original ones and 8 new ones also you can search them on here, someone asked and talked about them somewhere, I'll be at PGL headquarters to look at monitors and tell you what ones but search it on here. Astros and mix amps well cheeky now that i made you a super mod you should be able to look up the PWNED area now so they talk about them there or search it here because I know it's been talked about before. Then as for PGL Headquarters your bet is wrong puppy so epic fail haha, but you can take bets and I'll take money. Oh and sorry someone asked about entering FFA, 2v2 and 4v4. Well we need cash right up front then and there(no refunds btw) but there are discounts on everything. Kyle told me prices of things tonight(he might be sleeping) but prices may have changed then what is said on the site and the poster so let me double check first.

Ok sorry I worded that poorly, I meant like will we know what gametypes will be played in what round prior to the tournament?
As for Foundry, I mean does the venue allow for us to play Foundry? (Pretty sure you need an internet connection)

Is this definitely a go then? These dates are confirmed so if you're traveling in from out of town you need not worry about cancellation? GoW2 is an official game as well? I ask only because it's 9days away and the homepage still has had only one update since PGL Toronto 09. No updates on placings, seeds, or information. Sorry, just don't want to miss the second event of the season.

Ya it's a go, and the only reason it's not updated on the home page like it should be is because I can't figure out how to put up a picture and copy n paste this info without retyping it all.

So according to this if I want to compete in GoW2 I should be at the event for Friday at 6:00pm to Register and the tournament is going to start that night? If there are 12teams like there were in Toronto then how many rounds of GoW2 will have been played by the end of Friday. Also, will GoW2 players need to stick around for Sunday? This includes prize winners, the only reason I ask is because we had to come back Sunday in Toronto and I don't mean to be a dick but the less time I have to take off for work the better for me(paying rent wise). Also, you should start threads and encourage players to start boasting attendance so we get an idea on what the turnout will be.

I thought we finished everything saturday night for gears of war. Well whichever the times are set that way so that they do not have to come back sunday. BUT in the case that there are a lot of gears players and we do not finish saturday you will be encouraged to stay sunday. With Gears this is a touchy subject because if you were there for gears in toronto you'll remember that the first game took over an hour because of stale mate.

FFA ends when it ends, if everyone helps us stay organized and doesn't interfere then we can start and finish fast. And the downtown mall is across the street so your set.

MLG has since switched to Lancer as start weapon to avoid such an occurrence. Also they've added Avalanche to their map list. I recommend doing the same. Also, Gonntrain are you hosting this event yourself?
