View Full Version : Would you put your conrtoller down if your Dad was in trouble?

Here is my story:

I'm playing some random 4's with people I know (not mentioning names you may know who you are) and I get a phone call while I'm playing to find out it is my Dad. Supposedly his tires blew out on his car in the middle of a highway and was stuck inbetween oncomming traffic. He asked me to call my Mom and call a towtruck for him as well.

During this time I left my controller on the floor to do all this and came back amazed that my team had won 1 out of 2 games 3v4.

My question is: Would you stop playing halo to help one of your family members who needs your help? And would you talk sh!t to someone for being bad if they happened to go negative while they weren't even playing.

It just seems like SOME PEOPLE (you know who you are) care more about halo then their own family and think they are cool when they talk sh!t to kids THAT AREN'T EVEN PLAYING. All I have to say to you is:

1)grow up
2)Your not a bigger person by saying "GET OUT BR"D BK"
3)Family>Halo

you should've multitasked and crushed them while you were making your calls, then you could say that........ I personally would've told my dad to wait in the truck till I finished the game with the heat on.......

Ya, the point I'm trying to make to a certain nerd on these forums is that once in a while you have to stop playing halo and take care of more important things.

depends which family member.

My brother Jordan (Upbringing) if he was in trouble he'd tottally understand if i quickly said ill call him l8er its 48 - 49, or i got locked in ill help you in a bit (when really i had time to back out; its just halo comes b4 life fer sure).

But if it was my mom/dad/older brother/sister i might have to put the controller down. Might being a key word

I would have to disagree with you man. Real life most definitely comes before Halo 3. to think otherwise is just delusional. Look at Sypher from BtH and everything that happened with him prior to Dallas. RL>H3
