we talked about a winnipeg top 10 but it never happned could the video guy perhaps use his magical powers and get a top 10?? but he wpuld need people participating in toronto to submit clips so its gunna be a team effort.....

I've been working my "powers" behind the scenes and I think many of you will be pleasantly surprised with the live feed this time around. Again, if there is a good internet connection and stable power at the event, those will hopefully be the only issues that could potentially get in our way.

I don't want to over promise and under deliver... so I will just promise that there will be a live feed with gameplay... and that's it. I'm not going to promise that there will be live stats, sponsor logos, player profiles, commercials, highlight reels, replays and player interviews.... but I'm not going to promise there won't be...

Is there going to be a mainstage?

Yes there will be a mainstage. The mainstage will be the games that will be featured on the net through VOD. We will have a video feed from each xbox and be providing on screen graphics and player info on each angle so people who are watching from home know who's who and what's going on during the game.

Wow, that really make me want to watch for what "could and couldn't" be on the VOD. I am so amped for this!

for the vod, will there only be cameras on the gameplay or also around the players and like around the area like on mlg,

There will be both. The plan is to have a few cameras there in the action... as well as a half dozen mics to get live sound from the mainstage, the venu and interview people after events. The real challenge is there will be not enough people to operate everything so there are bound to be some compromises.... however!!... we will have a locked off high wide shot for main stage reaction shots, as well as an interview studio space to get peoples reactions and comments after the games... so it should still give you the sense of what it's like to be there.

The broadcast is shaping up to be pretty solid! There should be near CD quality sound as well as full motion 30 frames per second gameplay video... and I hope everyones internet is fat cause the quality of the stream is pretty hefty... but with the settings we have tested out, it should make for a very crisp smooth image if our internet from the venu can handle it... fingers crossed!

Yes... the last few matches of the FFA will be covered. You might even be able to see everyones face up on the screen while they play.
