Well, the next event was supposed to be early January. Its early January, and theres no tournament. Hell, theres not even a date. Hell, theres nothing!
So, admins can we hear something? Can we know where your thinking of holding it? Have you contacted anywhere attempting to rent a space? You guys are losing members every single day. You guys need to get your shit together, you guys have potential you become a great site. But, thats only going to happen if you plan your events MONTHS ahead of time. There are plenty of spaces in Toronto where you could hold it.
You guys also need to do something about these forums. THEY`RE DEAD. Idk what you guys plan to do in the future, but if things continue to go the way they`re going, people are going to give up on PGL, and it will only be a matter of time before a new canadian league presents itself.

Fail thread,
how do you think you can come on another site and advertise a whole new league? Thats just a plain old stupid jerk thing to do. By doing this, you take away the business of PGL. And you can go and flame them for how unorganized they are, but its not going to help. PGL is one person, not a whole crew. Its hard to balance on such a tiny budget with no guaranteed turnouts, not much help, and no support.
There are probably tops 50 members on this site who actually truly deep down care about this league and want it to expand. Your taking away from it, and then you go and try to say how bad this league is, good job on the encouragement buddy.
This is such an amazing league, and used to be such amazing forums.
But im really sick and tired of all this bullshit,
im about to explode from the morons on this.
Im totally taking a break from these forums for a week or two.
Eff this.

How was I advertising another league? Its a website for ONLINE tournaments. Not LANS, I never took away from PGL. They said Toronto was early Jan. ITS EARLY JAN. Im not complaining, or bitching. I WANT this league to succeed, Im trying to help them. So, before you bitch at me understand where Im coming from.

Once you have been to some PGL events and meet the guys who run the events you should understand Kyle's situation. It may be difficult at times, but in the end we all want a competitive Canadian league. From what I remember it was never official about Toronto being the next event let alone being in January. It was just what s1 thought from a source. Give it some time. Some events is a lot better than no events.

Halophax is trying to hit Toronto this summer, trust me I know. Until then I suggest playing on some of the online ladders on Order66Gaming.com and start to build up the community there. If I had the same web traffic as this site does, it's wouldn't take long to organize an event on our end, swing on by O66 and lets get a real community going.

I like O66. The site looks great and so does everything else...
But a bit modest don't you think?

I'm not too sure what you mean by that? Please elaborate.
I'm just basicly trying to build a community where as a community we can get things done. Investors/sponsors will only come on board once we have the community, things only get done with numbers. We have tried to set ourselves up right with the ladders, Pwndtube and GameZoneGlobal, we saw a demand for these things being in place before we tried to pull off another LAN event.
The truth is I don't even really want to host the LAN events, I want O66/pwndtube to be the GB/gameroom to a up and coming Canadian league, which I explained to Klye at MLG Toronto this year... and that dropped dead in the water and I don't know why. Now I'm in talks with Craig from Halophax and he likes what he sees, but we just need to get these ladders up and running with teams.
As I said, Halophax wants to come to Toronto this summer, hopefully if everything goes according to plan, O66 and Halophax will be working on that idea together... perhaps use our ladders to seed into the event. But thats only with users on our sites playing on the ladders, so jump on guys. COD:WAW, Gears 2 and Halo 3 all up and running.

stop defending their failure to comply with their own gaming community and taking the peoples advice from whom they would be making money off of because that would be the logical thing to do instead if you want this league to survive (though im pretty sure undead in the real world does not happen) shock them into reality that they must have passion and dedication to the gaming community which they have created (unlikely but ok) in other words give your head a shake they are done unless they can take criticism and use it to better themselves instead of turning down professional help for designing their web page which looks like crap, like common mlg even when it started out bak in the day didnt take this long to develope even with demographics takin into account seeing how many people are passionate about this league if it is (was) done right from the beggining there would be very minimal skepticism and talk of failure.
P.S. i want this leauge to pan out as much as anyone here because halo is the best online game to grace this planet
