back in like v4 or v5 with all the Deploys and stuff. i was watching it on youtube it looked sick! lol or at least different from copying mlg exactly.

I think less people would have showed up if It was those settings. I think even more people would show up if it were exactly like PGL but they can add like camos and Overshields to like differentiate the bases. then they could call it PGL settings.

for that to work PGL has to enforce on bringing the hard drives or else like loss of map cuz hard drive were a big issue at montreal and I wanted to really play OUTLOCK

The point is not to copy MLG but rather to offer a competitive ground for all players to compete on.
I do admit when I just want to mess around deploys are fun but 2 many problems occur when used in a competitive way.
We already have enough with, Power-Weapons and Power-Ups, to deal with in games. Imagine the hustle if PGL kept those in the game?

The old settings were alright. Not going to lie it was funny seeing a bubble shield being thrown on the Pit. It was fun playing those settings and they actually made for some intense moments at times. (camo on the pit was so fun ;) )
I miss the old PGL days..
