I was just thinking. it would be cool to have a PGL montage. get all the players to submit a couple clips and then put them into one big site montage. (Good clips tho not just randy ones from anyone) if theres anyone who has capture card and is good at editing ( cough"VideoGuy"cough)let me know.

i have a montage it will be on youtube thiss week its only 3 mins long so i guess its a minitag but i have the end credits with a pgl add so it should help getting kids into pgl...ps i have a cap card(dazzle) and sony vegas so i could help out

yeah i'd be in... i have a few good clips from playing with you guys... and i can help with editing/promotion if needed.. i took extra media and video program credits in school.. so i could use the experience..

yeah that would be pretty sick but all the clips should be from a PGL event. It wont be that hard considering u bring ur own HD lol

Sorry for being a touch sarcastic... but in all seriousness, I really do think it is a great idea and I have no problem committing some time to this cause, however there needs to be more participation from members on the forum as well as people who participate at the tournaments.

I do appreciate all the clips people have submitted thus far from previous tournaments and they will likely still be used in some form or another to promote PGL when the time is right.

Some progress in the PGL world is going down this week. There will be some more video info as well once all the Montreal details are finalized. One element that we will likely focus more on is the PGL Player Profiles where we contact certain people and do short 3 - 5 min pieces on them highlighting their gaming background and showcasing their skills... similar to the Dark Scorpion clip... but with a bit more production and style.

(I’m all for people submitting clips though…the more to choose from the better!!… any one feel free to use them to make a montage, but there needs to be a good enough selection in order to make it look credible… and they probably should be PGL Players from online and lan tournaments just so it’s authentic… and there lies the challenge.)

so then videoguy will be doing editing and stuff, but i also think that one the season hits off we should have like a PGL top ten every month and we could post it up on youtube.

I am alittle confused do the clips have to be from a PGL event or can they be from just some MLG/PGL games online.

i also believe it should be at lease 50% pgl gametypes and the other half can be other stuff

I have maybe 1 or 2 clips right now that may be good enough. But i am definitely liking this idea, and if we can find someone to edit i will send them my clips!
