PGL GameTesting
Sethiroth was nice enough to go out and make an Xbox Live Gold account named PGL GameTesting. So if you would like to get involved and help decide which maps and gametypes/settings are used in PGL tournaments please feel free to either post your gamertag in this thread or send out a friend request to the game testing account. It should also be mentioned that this gamertag will house all of the settings/maps that we are currently testing for the PGL tournaments across Canada. These will be posted up shortly onto the PGL GameTesting file share. Thanks again Sethiroth.
Onslaught
Earlier this morning JD was able to get me into a party with SaLoT, creator of Onslaught. At first SaLoT seemed almost, mad at me because PGL had no plans of using Onslaught, so I explained the situation to him, how we were unsure if we could even use Onslaught legally. He told me a tale of how MLG never even asked him if they could use his map, and how he had never signed anything. And so I asked if it would be cool to use Onslaught for PGL, and well, SaLoT's fine with it. With that said the Onslaught testing now begins, SaLoT has some very good ideas for Onslaught that MLG doesn't agree with and so we are hopefully going to start testing some of those ideas out very quickly. Thanks to JD and SaLoT, we really appreciate it.
